The Nat's blog on Gigliocooking
Off we went walking through the city, to the Piazza della Signorina, to the famous Ponte Vecchio, where we had some free time before our Italian cooking class! It was presided over by Marcela, a real, mean Italian mamma who meant business. “When the garlic smells sexy, throw in the peppers!” left us wondering. “Rub the dough so the amino acids make love!”

There are no translations available. Good Morning, In putting together my memory book of my trip to Florence, I realized that the highlight was the cooking lesson! It was a wonderful experience. You are an excellent instructor and I just had to thank you again. The Mason group talked about our lesson for the rest of our trip. I pureed a white fennel bulb and served with crostini just for me. Will do Ribollita as soon as the weather gets cooler. Arizona has been over 100 degrees F ever since I returned. Best wishes for a successful year and many more to come. Thank you again. |
